This past summer, I was diagnosed with ductile carcinoma - breast cancer. I chose to have a left mastectomy to remove the cancer, and I'm doing great now. Like a rising percentage of women these days, I declined reconstruction, going half-flat instead. This tunic looks amazing without a prosthesis (or "foob", as we like to say). The deep cowl neckline helps camouflage my missing breast without making me look like I'm hiding my shape. It also looks great with a long, chain necklace draping over the cowl. I hope many other BC survivors will find this top and others like it, and find confidence in their new body as is.
