This is a pretty novelty item, but the elastic did not stretch enough to get it over my hand, so I could see if it fit my arms. I'm built more like a construction worker than a delicate flower, but still. I might have slightly bigger, more muscular hands and arms than your average woman but I'm not fat. Others mention it is a tight fit at first, but I'm afraid we would need the jaws of life to get this off me- if I did squeeze into it. if tight spaces/restrictive clothes scare you- do not buy this. The company was great to work with in making this right.

I'm a chubby girl and they still fit my arms. keep in mind you have to order two, they don't come as a set. I will be getting a different lace for them, the elastic cord they come with works but it's not very pretty.

It seems to be quite small but it is just the lacing. The lacing is too short and stiff. The stiffness makes it difficult to tie, and the length limits the wear-ability to very petite forearms only. The rest of the glove is lovely and exactly as pictured. I will replace the lacing with a satin string for mine and recommend this idea to the manufacturer.
